Denaturing is a process of “marking” meat that is not fit to be used for human consumption. The meat is covered with agents that either discolor it or give it an offensive odor so that there is no possibility of it being used for human consumption. The USDA requires meat processors to denature the meat which is leaving their plant unless that meat is going to another USDA inspected facility, or directly into the human food supply.
Hoo-Raw! uses NO denatured meat in our pet foods. We use only USDA inspected meat and our food is manufactured in a USDA inspected facility. Investigate the meat in your dogs raw food!
